Any time ANY ONE breaks any law, there has to be some form of punishment meted out. Otherwise we become a lawless society.

No one is advocating death sentence to illegal immigrants. Punishment has to be proportional to the severity of crimes committed.

I have not given a lot of thought what an appropriate punishment would be for illegals, but there can be no across the board pardon. May be they can pay a fine, register, and wait in line behind the legal applicants. If they refuse that then they deserve deportation.

Yes, that’s right, and we became a lawless society when we quit enforcing the border. Got that? WE quit enforcing the border. Then, when we quit enforcing it, reasonable people said, hey, what the hell, they’re letting us in and the pay is good...let’s go. And now, they’re the ones being made to pay.

Please don’t misunderstand me. I think they’re here illegally and they need to either go back or be subjected to reasonable requirements to stay here legally. But we created this problem, and they took advantage of it. Too many people think the immigrants are the sole culprits in all of this, but they overlook our own part in it, and our own part was instrumental in creating the situation in the first place.

And now we want to penalize the children...might as well send all the Irish back too...no statute of limitations in this crowd...
