I did, I actually looked at his voting record on the ACU website.

His last years in congress he was running around a 75%, hardly commendable.

For many of the preceeding years, for many of the votes the ACU used to rate the house members, he apparently did not vote, so his "100%" scores are hardly reliable in rating him.

Granted, there were some actual years he actually voted on all votes and voted the conservative line, however, there is a lot of actual, factual baggage where Newt is concerned.

Quit trying to paper over his faults, and be honest about his failures. You might have a better chance at convincing people he might have changed and might be ready to be POTUS.

As for me, with his Pro-Amnesty stance and his Individual Mandate stance, he'll never get my vote.
