Washington, United States
The Republican candidates differ on their ideologies in various foreign policy issues in the second Republican presidential debate.
Newt Gingrich, who more recently has emerged to the top of the race for the Republican presidential nomination, said that during his government did not expel immigrants without legal permission but already have a life founded in the United States.
The applicant added that the Republicans can not say that his party is in favor of the family when separating parents from their children who were born in the country and have citizenship.
Gingrich, also supported the antiterrorism law known as the Patriot Act, passed after the attacks of September 11, 2001, which has been criticized by civil rights advocates.
In contrast, Congressman Ron Paul said that the law "is not patriotic because it undermines our freedoms."
Paul holds libertarian stances advocating cuts in aid to Israel, the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan and the decriminalization of drugs.
The Congress is supported by a solid core of people who support him and admire his position of opposition to the current foreign policies. Either way, Ron Paul has not been able to be among the first places in the race for the nomination.
Since the candidate Romney, former governor of Massachusetts, opposed the cuts and suggested that the money is withdrawn the militia could be used to fund public health programs of Obama, which are repudiated by the Republicans.
Also, the wide range of issues gave room for many errors, especially because most applicants do not have considerable experience in international affairs.
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Governor Rick Perry of Texas and businessman Herman Cain so far have supported a role not so popular in today's candidacy.
Through the debate, the chances of Cain and were damaged with an incoherent response to a question from an interviewer about Libya. Perry, equally, to damage his campaign can not remember the names of the three federal agencies that wanted to eliminate.
This was the second debate, in less than two weeks, on foreign policy in a campaign dominated by internal affairs.
I honesty think newt is a genius on this one. He completely shut down all of the talk about his consulting engagement with Freddie Fannie. He has everyone talking about how to handle immigration. When people finally read ALL of his remarks, it will be hard for anyone to disagree with the entire plan. All of this and he stays I’m the spotlight, wins over some compassionate independents, and probably gets some Hispanic votes too
He fully intended to say what he said. Ingenious
It is a hallmark of your hate fest that you want to characterize eveything in the extreme. No one running for the Republican nomination has stated an extreme position such as complete amnesty for citizenship by absolution. Yet you and your little mob want to characterize things that way, as if Gingrich or Cain has called for the extreme you speciously present. This appeal to emotional reaction rather than reasoned discussion to sort out the actual positions of the candidates is sad to witness at Freerepublic this season. If real discussion happened, we could look at the notions currently offered from the candidate field and combine the good points to fashion a reasonable and efficient wya to deal with the immigrant invasion. Instead, we have a frenzy of hate speech designed by Romney and DNC operatives to characterize conservatives and freepers as irrational. How very alinskyesque that.
Whatever! Amnesty is where it’s heading, don’t be so damn naive.
and Newt was right. Will someone explain Cain’s plan or Bachmann’s plan on rounding up and deporting 20 million illegals. Do they intend to use swat teams? how many buses will they need? how many planes to send the illegals from Europe and abroad home? they have not had the courage to touch that topic. They talk about securing the border...Newt agrees...but they do not talk about exportation. They talk about removing magnets but we will still have millions here that won’t leave despite the removal of magnets. Once again...may I ask HOW Cain and Bachmann will remove a few million? have they ever said?
And no...Newt’s plan does not lead to citizenship ahead of others already in line or guarantee anyone will stay here..there are stipulations.
But, you know, I'll take it if that's what the Hispanic press is telling Hispanic voters.
A more accurate and relevant headline would have been "Newt Gingrich will expel most Hispanics"
But don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Cain’s plan is simple and to the point: 999
LOL LOL LOL magritte...you made my day but what about the 909 and the 333 enterprise zone plan? however, the 999 is dominant...so, he will deport 9 at a time on the 9th day of each month at 9 pm.?
” IRS figures show illegals use falsified documents to collect some $20 billion in EITC refunds......and on and on and on. “
Disgusting !

Okay. Stop that. According to some on this thread they think that's, 'Hate Speech'
But I think that those 'some' have been hitting the Cooking Sherry a little early.
Or they're basting the Turkey with Vodka and are 'sampling while cooking'.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving :-)
(I get to play Family Photographer again today, Yippee!)
Had he not mentioned that organization, he would have been able to walk back some of the less palatable portions of his comments. Unfortunately his several endorsements of Krieble that night really let the cat out of the bag.
With all the nit picking and smears of Newt, one wonders if with the debate, papers being translated in Spanish and it going to all the SW states, Fla., border states, if any Hispanic voters who are legal and can actually vote, will change their minds about voting lemming like for Obama?? Just a thought. Pubs love to shoot our wounded and soon no one will be left and Obama will win in a landslide.
LOL!! At least she doesn't live with you.......kill me now.....
By committing suicide.
If all bennies are cut, many will leave, for sure. But do any Rs have the guts to cut all bennies? It has to be done sooner or later or the entire edifice will collapse sooner or later anyway.
As for they breed like rats, you ought to be ashamed.

Not a good idea......
