I’m hoping it was lousy debate performance by Cain/Perry that did them in and not this single subject thing tonight for Newt.

If Newt is gone, that’ll leave Romney as the surviror. Sucks, I say. None of the others are likely at all to come back. I think Newt can read the reaction and recover though, unlike the rest. We’ll see how it goes in the next week.

It only leaves Romney as a survivor if you vote for him. He is no better than Newt on the illegal topic. He just argued the opposite side in last night’s debate, but he has basically said the same thing as Newt before.

No one has forgotten Mitt’s ability to support both sides of an issue. So there is no real reason for anyone to consider him.

Newt on top so first thing I note in my local rag today, over the fold, AP story detailing his immigration stance and why he will not win.

Let’s assume there is not much difference between Newt and Romney on the issue of illegals. Which would we wish to see running against His Majesty. I would rather see Newt.

Face it, no matter which of the supposed conservatives running, the press will gin up enough chad to make it impossible to vote for our choice...they want His Majesty reelected.

In defensive tactics training, you are taught when facing multiple threats, to take out the biggest threat first, say the guy with the shot gun or automatic weapon over the guy with the knife if at equal distances from you. Same here, the biggest threst is O Turd. The second biggest is Romney.

BINGO!!! We have a winner!!! Romney will end up being the GOP nominee because the Conservatives cannot unite behind one candidate. It’s the nature of the Conservative beast: We will bite our nose off to spite our face. Start preparing your hearts, and minds, NOW my FReeper Brothers and Sisters; it is very possible we have blown this thing and Obozo will be back in the White House for 4 more years. Many Conservatives will stay home or vote Third Party before they’ll vote for Romney, while the Dems, on the other hand, even though many are very disappointed in Obozo, will unite together in the end, as they always do, and defeat a wounded, splintered Repuplican Party again.
