If you look at the decades long policies that we had to get cheap labor at the expense of a flood of illegals and the refusal to revamp our immigration policy to meet this demand by our corporations you will see illegals were ‘encouraged” to come.
Moreover, if you look at the factors economically and other wise that some posters have described of what it would take to “deport” millions of people, you will see why this is not a “realistic” solution.
To present comparisons to WWII is disingenuous at best.
Yes, we CAN deal with this situation, but just screaming about “deport them all” is not a realistic response. Actually the whole discussion about deportation is a moot point until we secure the border and revamp our immigration system.

The cost of labor unions, E.P.A. taxes, regulations and all the other hoops that business have to jump through was the main reason why we saw many companies either go over seas or hire cheap labor.

Some views of this will say that it's a " realistic " solution, however ? don't you think most here realize that it's not going to be a cake walk to at least try to deport them the best we can ?
Of course we are aware that it's not going to be a easy task, but, we have to start some were instead of doing nothing about it.
At least one thing we can agree on, we wish we would not have to be dealing with this and have gotten in this mess in the first place.
