But the former governor is betting that he can triumph in the state without any significant support from social conservatives normally a vital voting bloc and is making no real effort to win them over.

Yeah, those social conservatives and their stickiness on abortion. Why can’t they see the light? /sarcasm.

No effort to win them over, eh. The moderates can carry him to a failed bout with Obama, then?

At least he doesn’t have to fight the MSM who isn’t attacking him as they are some of the others.

Romney bets that he can win Iowa by talking out of his mouth in the right direction at the right time calculating a crab angle to compensate for wind correction and smiling to ease concern.

Then it will be the end of America. Our country is on the brink. Four more years of the zer0 will certainly bring about our demise.
Let the revolution begin.

Here is what I don’t get... even the liberals admit that the Republican party has moved much further to the right over the last 20 years... and yet here we are about to possibly nominate the most liberal Republican since ... Nixon (Romney)
I just don’t see that happening.

The problem is is we look over our shoulder we have to ask...how the heck did McCain end up on the ballot in ‘08?
(MSM information management combined with RATS getting to vote in many key REPUB primaries gace us McCain. Suprise, Suprise, RATS love voting for REPUBS who will definitely lose.

Assuming that there is a bloc called "fiscal conservatives" who vote independently of the social conservatives, he still won't have enough supporters to win.
IMO this is his "excuse" for not winning the Iowa caucuses.
He has given up before the race is over.
