“With things going his way, I didn’t understand why he would make that controversial statement yesterday”

I’m not going to say he was right or wrong on his “stand.” What I will say is that I believe he was just being honest and saying what he believed to be correct; whether he is right or wrong on the issue.

Sola, I respect your view- but, I honestly puzzled over Newt’s statement. He didn’t have to say it- it was risky, still might be. Why even take the risk? But, now that I see my man, Mr. Cain, at 6% — who among the remaining conservatives can challenge Newt?

The strategy still might backfire— we’ll see. But, I’m thinking Newt’s telling the money people in the Establishment to get on board because he’s more viable than Romney.

That said, I still think that Mr. Cain provides the best opportunity for the constitutional conservative movement.
