Hmmm about 400,000 College Faculty and grad students are covered by collectively bargained contracts. So the Unions who are supporting the Occupied cause are the ones responsible for the tuition increases, which pays the salaries of their teachers.
I've got news for you. The tuition increases are
not primarily going into faculty salary increases, at least not at the vast majority of colleges and universities where the faculty are not unionized. They are going into administrator salary increases and increases in the number of administrators and the number of administrative support staff at universities. Faculty salaries have been flat for the past four years, and before that raises barely kept pace with inflation.
The professional managerial class is just as corrupt in academe as in banking or government.
