Not sure his father is from Earth, brings up the whole Natural Born Citizen issue.

“Maybe if we have a deadlocked convention?”

You mean, only if they let in the few who would vote for him, then threw the deadlocks on the doors?

I like him, but uh, maybe the 150th best pick.

Rand probably wouldn’t have much of a chance in that scenario. Paul Ryan might.

Not going to happen, but I do like Rand. I would support him next time out.

First, he'd have to promise that, unlike his Dad, he wouldn't nominate Kucinich to his cabinet or ask Nader to come together on a progressive-libertarian agenda.

And then after that ... he's got a snow ball's chance in Hades.

Thanks to all for the responses. About what I thought, very few supporters for the idea.

Has Rand Paul ever uttered a word to disagree with? I can’t remember doing anything but cheering whenever he opens his mouth for me to hear the cold hard facts roll off his tongue, with no guile. I like him. And have forgotten any misques. Do tell.

You all might enjoy reading Sen. Paul’s budget plan if you haven’t done so. Mighty enlightening...

...(I have thick skin so go ahead).

...Voted for him for the Senate in KY. I think his father has raised some good points in the debates, although I don't think he can get the Rep. nod.

I’d vote for Rand in a heartbeat.

...Yea, for president also.

I’m IN!

If Rand Paul can’t be drafted then at least sign his petition for his National Right to Work Act which would be the death knell to the blight of union power in the nation.
