Flash Mob Shoplifts at Silver Spring 7-Eleven

About 50 people simultaneously shoplifted from a Silver Spring, Md., 7-Eleven Saturday night.

Officers arriving at the store in the 12200 block of Tech Road after 11:20 p.m. saw several people gathered in surrounding parking lots and on side streets, police said. They began to disperse when police arrived.

The shoplifters -- described as teens and young adults -- took items including snacks and drinks, police said

Police stopped a group of six people ages 16-18 near Tech Road and Broadbirch Drive. Each had items from the 7-Eleven but no receipts, police said.

Detectives are investigating whether the shoplifters had attended a birthday party in the area, police said.

On a serious note, I have a lot of bleeding heart liberal friends (don't ask me why) and every time I get one of these "flash mob" videos or "beat down" videos of the Amish youth in action, I forward them the URL. It's driving them nuts and I'm having the best of times with it. Nothing is more fun that putting evidence in the face of a liberal that they are wrong. They really cannot deal with reality.

It's a real sign of the times that we have these people among us causing this damage but my late father warmed me that we would get to this point one day. He said he was glad he wouldn't live to see it.

Well one is female and hot. Most of the rest are legacy types. And one or two I think are still in the closet but are afraid to come out due to social pressure. It's tough being conservative in SF Bay area. I'm up to it but many are not.

I live in Montgomery County, about 5 miles from Silver Spring.

This is the 2nd flash mob incident that has occurred in the last 6 months.

After the first one, the County Council proposed having a teen curfew - they are still debating the issue.

Of course, there have been a lot of teens testifying before the Council AGAINST the curfew - but this second incident is liable to push the Council to enact the law.

STUPID kidz in the 2nd flash mob just SCREWED any chance to defeat the bill ...
