Biden just took the heat for him. He was not going to pardon Pollard.
Thanks Jet Jaguar
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
these 5 .. pot people???
some pretty minor offenses .. I wonder who they are connected to .. that is the big question ..
if anyone really finds out WHY these people were pardoned and who they were connected to, ping me please
We all know blacks have been convicted and sent to prison unfairly. I’ll bet these are all blacks. No wonder he has no interest in shutting down the borders if he thinks dealers in drugs should be pardoned for their crimes.
This man has no shame - or a brain!
In Obama’s long F-America tradition, what would stop him from pardoning the entire prison population within the U.S.
Sounds like a fundamental transformation kind of move...
Most of these people have been home for the holidays for a long time. About 2 1/2 decades for some.
Well, he’d have to leave a few behind bars. Couldn’t give too much of an appearance of favoritism would he?
thanks for the link
There is a campaign contribution involved in everyone.
Bush did the same thing.
There's always next year, Jon.
Go home and get a job.
Part of Obama’s Immigrant Jobs Plan:
Release the pot-heads from prison; they all go home, get stoned; then, they get the munchies around 2 a.m. in the morning, so they have to run out in the middle of the night and go get some food; thereby, creating and/or saving “immigrant” jobs at 7-11.
Cheers
Were there any White people among those receiving pardons?
Presidential Pardons are a misuse of the office and make a mockery of our justice system. But that is my opinion.
Presidential pardons are fully constitutional. In fact, they’re just about the only presidential power that has no restrictions on it. The president could constitutionally release every federal prisoner tomorrow, and for that matter pardon those who haven’t even been charged yet.
I read a novel recently where a laws was passed making murder for political reasons a solely federal crime. Then the president just pardoned his supporters who killed any of his opponents. Fully constitutional.
It’s surprising that we haven’t had a truly major scandal yet involving this power, with all its remarkable potential for abuse.
Good question. The new administration should cross reference the pardoned people with government employees and weed them out.
Of course the simpler solution would be to cross reference everybody hired during the 0-admin and weed them all out.
