Message from Oklahoma to Ohio: tear down your own damn houses. Why do you need tax dollars from other states to solve your problems? Use some of those protected union workers to tear them down.
Hell, give a couple rowdy kids a bulldozer and have them go to town. When I was 18 I’d have done that for free for the thrill.
