However, even if it is considered disrespectful to the office of the First Lady, is it justified?

I wasn't aware the position of First Lady was an 'office'. Perhaps that's part of the issue. The 0bamas seem to think it is.

Neither is there an 'Office of the President Elect.' Yet Obama used the title anyway.
