Everyone in the whole world knows why the Cain campaign doesn't want these newspaper interviews videoed, and it is not because they manipulate what he says. It is entirely because Cain is basically ignorant on most policy questions and doesn't want the public to see just how little he actually knows.

Don't care how much or how little he knows on policy questions. I care about how much I can trust him to push the conservative agenda and not back down when the Dems shriek. I care about how much confidence I can have that he won't sell us out and be just another RINO.

Lack of knowledge can be fixed. Lack of character can't.

Frankly, I think it speaks to his character that he entered the presidential race without informing himself better.

I guess he counted on his charm and conservatism ... and, well, it almost worked.
