Barry will make sure that NASCAR ends up racing with plug-ins.

I keep seeing bits about this in Car and Driver and other magazines. it's coming, that's for sure.

I waited to opine, because I wanted to hear what went on from some one I knew who was at the event.
ROTFLMAO!
Yes, there was indeed lots of displeasure voiced that day.
Most of it aimed at the “security forces” that disrupted much of the event.
Disclaimer - I am not a “car” person, and would not have attended the event if given free tickets!(I would have passed them on to the people I know who are racing fans)

Apparently, fans who are used to showing their tickets and entering the gates, were actually subjected to physical pat downs.
Traffic was backed up for much more than twice the anticipated time.
Racing pit crews, especially the three right in front of the VIP stand, were interfered with, and their normal pre-race preparations were obstructed by secret service agents.

Racing fans watched an event many of them carefully budgeted for, took vacation time off work to attend, had been anticipating for quite some time - be hijacked, and made unpleasant, merely for a political photo-op for the wives of politicians, who lets face it, couldn't possibly have cared less about the event or the fans who paid good money to be there.

Yeah, there was a whole lot of booing going on! What idiotic PR expert thought the insertion of disruptive security measures at this particular event was a "good idea"? Since the topic is "dead for now" in the msm, I guess we won't hear of any firings on the First Lady's event planning staff. ROTFLMAO! I
