There are white deer all over the woods here in the Finger Lakes, and they are not albinos...they are simply white. Most of them are within the confines of the old Seneca Army Depot. Here they can be shot like any other deer, in fact, a friend has a doe mounted in a glass case in his living room.
Had a friend many years ago who was a DA civilian at Seneca. She was jack-lighting a white buck one night, shot it and the darn thing came to again in the station wagon. By the time she cut it’s throat, it had completely shredded the back interior of that car.
