Bush was just the opposite....he didn’t mind the hard work and HATED the strutting crap.
The contrast between Obama and republican candidates is striking, and the contrast between him and Newt is like the difference between riding a bicycle and Warp speed.
The man can’t articulate what he plans to do in this country, because he doesn’t know what he’s going to do.
Newt has thought long deep and hard on EVERY ISSUE. He draws a correlation to each issue with a lesson of our history.

Re: your tag line? I do recall Palin did say ANYBODY BUT OBAMA. Then in an interview before she announced she wab’t running she said the opposite about ABO and settling...or something like that so I am confused.

Wait until we enter the season "of our discontent" and the stain and his piglets head off to someplace warm for yet another vacation after being worn out by all the partying during the holiday season.
It would be better if the repub/rino/indep/tparty has a viable candidate....

Craven and venal as the man who tutored him, that being the criminal legislator Dan Rostenkowski, King Democrat, Chris Matthews is just marketing his book to the bigger and more literate audience. The conservatives.
I have a different take on the Chrissy interview. What Chrissy is angry about is Obama hasn’t contacted him to tell him how to manage the news for his reelection. Yes he has sent e-mail instructions but Chrissy thinks he should get more face time. In his mind his importance should get him invited to all the parties and gatherings. What he is perturbed by is Obama knows he has outlived his usefulness and he must court others for reelection. Groups like NASCAR, country music and his base. Chrissy even is trying to threaten him into invitations by saying he has heard things. The things he heard are probably other tossed aside journalists not getting first class treatment on the taxpayer dime.
How did they force Webb Hubbell out and still save face?
Don't think they won't do it, either.

My mistake. Mathews worked for Tip O’Neill. The difference is minor. O’Neill and Rostenkowski were best buddies and were the masters of a rotten Congress in their years, a Congress whose rottenness seems only exceeded by the 111th’s of prior session.
Webb Hubbell isn’t America’s first black President. Chicago doesn’t like the Clintons. It won’t go easy. Why do you think Rahm’s speaking out?
