He also pushed through the Federal Reserve Act, Federal Trade Commission Act, and the first income tax law (after the amendment was ratified). He began the first military draft since the Civil War, took control of the railroads, suppressed anti-war movements, began the first federal intrusion into the agriculture and food production industries.
The list of his prototypical Leftist achievements goes on and on -- and we are still paying the price today.
