A new poll shows that if Republicans want to nominate the candidate most likely to beat President Obama in 2012, they should pick Mitt Romney—at least if the election were held tomorrow.

You’re so obviously a fraud it’s laughable. As is Mitt Romney - fraud personified. And I love how these Romneybots catalog all the alleged “accomplishments” (and none of the easily documentable flip flops) in Massachusetts and leave out RomneyCare - which the people of Massachusetts roundly despise, almost to a resident. It was so horrific for Romney as governor that he left office with a pathetic 34% approval rating. And THIS is what the Romneybots, Republican Establishment types and The Left MSM tell us is the needed recipe for “success”. They all claim Romney’s RINO-ism is exactly why he won in Massachusetts. If so, then why didn’t it lead him to a much higher approval rating?? Why did his constituents end up hating him by an almost 7 in 10 margin if his RINO-ism is such a model to be followed? Conservatives fully know RINO’s have no principles - other than political expediency. At some point an electorate discovers a “moderate” is the empty suit they always have been. And there is no bigger Empty Suit than Mitt Romney.
Romney can never beat Obama. If Romney is the nominee, the TEA Party voters - the ones solely responsible for the 2010 tidal wave - will never support him. The TEA Party voters want real Conservatives; they want no part of RINO’s like Romney, and they will abstain from voting for him. A Romney nomination would almost certainly force Ron Paul to run as an Independent and it would destroy any hope Romney has, splitting his voting blocks so sharply that he has no mathematical chance. In fact Romney could even finish an embarrassing third of three. Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman - the only full fledged appeasing, capitulating, deal making, political expedient RINO’s in the Republican race - will be humiliatingly defeated if either of them manages to slime their way into the nomination. They cannot overcome the TEA Party and Social Conservative distrust of them, making their defeat imminent.
