You will see Howie Carr in all his glory when the race for Tierney's seat heats up. Bill Hudak is great, conservative candidate. I've met him and heard him speak. He is very sharp and would be a fantastic congressman for Mass. and the country.
Tisei is pro abortion, pro gay marriage, AND co-sponsored the bathroom bill which prevents any discrimination against transgenders. Tisei thinks it's ok for a man to pee next to a little girl in the bathroom. Or how about a daycare center being forced to hire a man in a dress to watch little boys? If the daycare center tells him they won't hire him, he sues and ruins the business. If they hire him, they lose their customers and the business is ruined. Tisei is an awful candidate, but Howie Carr is his buddy. He comes on the show. He refers to him as ‘Richie’ and I'd bet Howie gets behind him (pun intended) over Hudak.

I helped to interview Hudak for about an hour on college radio in Salem. Very knowledgeable. If signs could only vote (he had many up, Tierney only started to get them up right before the election)...
But despite the scandal breaking just before the election, Tierney still won. Yuck....hopefully the new towns added to the 6th will help whomever the GOP nominates but Bill or Rich will have to win some Dem strongholds like Lynn.

Years ago Howie was talking to someone on air and mentioned “how’s this guy Tissy”—mispronounced his name— “over in
Wakefield?” A short time later, Howie appeared at some kind of fundraiser for Tisei.

Not thrilled about Tisei entering the race. I think Hudak has more name recognition than Tisei right now. Another thing in Hudak’s favor is in the primary it will be a small number of people voting. When was the last time there was a Rep. primary for anything? Hudak’s voters will vote regardless. Tisei? Who knows.

Hopefully Howie will stay neutral on this one....
