I think I have recognized a new form of life in our society - The “GUPPIE”

First there were “Hippies” -
Persons of unconventional appearance, typically having long hair and wearing beads, associated with a subculture involving a rejection of conventional values and the taking of hallucinogenic drugs

Next came “Yuppies” -
Well paid young urban professionals employed in the city and typically enjoying a luxurious lifestyle.

And now we have “Guppies*” -
Greedy unemployable parasites of a society that exhibit a bewildering sense of entitlement, despite the bankruptcy of the welfare state being obvious to even the most hopeful hippies and the yuppies of yesteryear.

*
Greedy (adj)
having or showing an intense and selfish desire for something, esp. wealth or power

Unemployable (adj)
persons not able or likely to get paid employment esp. because of a lack of skills or qualifications.

Parasites (n)
an organism that lives in or on another organism (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the host’s expense.
• a person who habitually relies on or exploits others and gives nothing in return. (see “entitlement zombies”)

Actually the first ones on the scene were the Beatniks, they pre-dated the Hippies by about 10 years.
