We saw Condoleezza Rice at her lecture and book signing at the Reagan Library last night; not so much of a lecture but an interview on key episodes from her book and her service in the Bush 43 Administration, plus audience questions. She was similarly direct and insightful and really took it to "moderate" Republican presidential candidates (not individually but as a group) and to the foreign policy incompetence of the current president.

I was very impressed as I had expected her to be more subdued in her comments now that she's out of office. If she could stick to the principles she talked about and happened to be running for president, I would vote for her over the current crowd.
