A non-violent protest at UC Davis turned chaotic Friday afternoon as police pepper-sprayed a group of students sitting on the ground. Videos shot at the scene show a policeman walking up to the protesters, pulling out his can of pepper spray to display to the crowd, and liberally sweeping the protesters with the stinging substance. Many students had their heads down, but at least one demonstrator was hit in the face. Other officers then followed suit, spraying many of the Occupiers who appeared to be sitting in a circle with their arms linked. By midday Saturday, videos of the showdown were circulating the Internet.

Here is the problem guys:
1. These clowns are running a media and pr war, but a legal or real one. So the hippies love this shit. It takes away from talk about rapes, drugs, murder, etc and sets it back to somewhere else.
2. The cops look terrible in this. It would be one thing if these kids were kicking down doors or fences, but they were sitting on the floor while a dozen other cops were nearby - they could not have broken the arm lock and arrested a few of these morons who refused to leave? The image looks awful and in the 24/7 media world, that is what matters, for better or worse.
3. This is a pyscological fuck up by the cops. This stupid OWS movement was dying down , was fractured, and was quickly losing steam. Now - these fools are going to unit, have a rallying cry, sue the school and the PD, and have a new recruiting tool.
4. Rules for Radicals by Alinsky. What these kids pulled was almost literally right out of that book. having read that book twice - these morons set the bait for the cops for the overreaction like tossing red meat in front of a dog and they went for it. Now - the issue will be the overreaction, not the fact that these idiots refused to leave.
5. You cant beat these marxists by force. That wont work, it never does. What you need to do is a combo of ridicule, psy ops, and sort of what like Schiff did.
This is how you do it - Schiff peacfully, but forcefully - DESTROYS these people. This is what to do - get in their faces and tear their failed ideology apart and these people will be exposed for the morons they are.

I am very sorry you have not seen the sleazy planning in action like I have. After you see what goes on behind the scenes with these commie liars and manipulators you realize it is pure evil.
These people depend upon your human empathy and use it to manipulate. It is unwise to take things at face value with these sleazy manipulators.

On principle, I agree, but knowing the radicals MO, there may be much more than meets the eye here. I work in a union shop. Fortunately paying union dues is optional and I opted out, mainly because they blindly support every dem and liberal cause out there no matter what. Hell, if Jerry Sandusky ran for office as a Dem they would endorse that SOB. Their support for this is certainly a source of shame for me.
Pro Lifers have blockaded abortion clinics and have been brutalized by the police.
I have seen police drag Pro Life women across a parking lot by their hair.

This was a set up and the cops acted like well paid actors for this. Truly stupid for the cops to give these kids a reason to unite and have a rallying cry now.
Hey noob. Would you kindly link an article telling us how many Tea Party members at events have been pepper sprayed since the Tea Party began? You can come up with a lot of "what ifs" but lets deal with reality here.
I’ve been at TEA, first of all, they mostly like us. But more than that, when they say “you cannot stand in the middle of the street”,, we move to where they point us. And the pepper spray never comes out. Funny how that works,,huh?
And i notice you are very new here, maybe you noticed how many TEA parties the last few years had the cops using force against them. That’s because we are decent people NOT looking to have street fights with cops. It’s really easy not to get pepper sprayed.

Ok sport,, nice try. Now again, how many TEA protests ended this way? Think it over and see if you can tell us why.
And of course it has limits,, nobody was repressed there,, i saw nearly 10 minutes of protesting. Only the thugs were sprayed,, not the screamers.
The only trouble I’ve seen or heard of at our local TEA parties, a few times some young WHITE punk driving by, typically in a beat up rice rocket would shout out “f@&#ing racists”, only to be laughed at.
