Nixon had a strategy going of quiet diplomacy and Meir threatened to upset a carefully balanced apple cart. And quite frankly, at the time during the height of the Cold war, a fee for exit visas for Jews to go to Israel was not a national priority issue of the United States. Kissinger was a mere assistant at the time, so his comments reflect simple frustration and do not bear much weight imo.

Yes, just another example of rank self-hatred among assimilationist Jews. Rahm Emanuel is another one. George Soros is so to the nth power. Only reason the article interests me. Nixon himself was great.
