He did not offer him jack, he said he could, every adult understood that was a courtesy to a very old and very experienced man just like the meeting. And the headline is a lie, he said they were self serving, and so, then he said you could not tell them anything in confidence and expect them to not leak it, and in doing so they were leaky bastards.

NO he didn’t. I watched the interview - he was laughing when he said that, and has clarified since that he was joking. He went on to talk about people like John Bolton as the kind of person he would want in that position.
Do you think lying about Cain helps your candidate?
