I heard the interview, and Paul isn’t going to run. He kept repeating he had no intention or plans to run and didn’t want to. Hannity kept on asking if he would say that under absolutely no circumstances would he run, and Paul kept saying he had no intention to run.
Stupid radio and a useless line of inquiry. If there is any out at all involved in the “no intention”/”no plans” response it would probably involve developments about as remote as an invasion by space aliens. Paul will stay on the reservation if for no other reason than to help Rand’s prospects for the future.
If the GOP House agrees to raise taxes, he has said he wouldnt rule out a possible 3rd party run.
But if the GOP house does raise taxes, Ron Paul is the least of our issues. We likely wont win in 2012 anyway in that case. The party will be a mess. The libertarians will be mad. The conservatives will be mad. The fiscal conservatives will be mad. Only the moderates will be happy.
Paul isn’t going to run Indy. He is going to keep the threat of running on the table to keep these spineless GOP bastards on task.
