We are hearing from the Newt haters.
Haven’t heard one yet to say that one of the other nominees was smarter.
Lots of thing I dont like about Newt. Lot of thing I don’t like about the others.
If we start judging Presidents by their affairs we will have a lot of them to Judge.
I want a president who can get rid of Obama and have some chance of establishing the USA as a powerful nation once again. With what is going on in the Middle East and the Muslimisation of Europe we are going to need one.
We don't need a "smarter" President. We need one that's principled enough to stay on message even in his own home. Newt's already proved that he can stick to his political principles about as well as he sticks to his moral ones.
I'll take a man who knows how to surround himself with the right people that I CAN TRUST vs a smart guy who has all the answers and will screw me as soon as I turn around.
Re your post 17, I agree. The Newt haters have no substantive argument. All they can do is reference “affairs” and yet they don’t give any details so that we can know what a scumbag the man is.
And I fail to see any connection between the man’s personal life and his ability to serve. Please elucidate on the connection.

Keep something in mind. Whenever you hear Gingrich talk he continually goes back to the Constitution and teaches us through easy to follow examples where this country’s gone wrong and how we can get back on track. Think about that. No other candidate is using the Constitution as their template. That should tell you how serious this guy really is.

But then, give us the largess of your wisdom and tell which candidate CAN now beat both obama and the media - AND WHY.

Start with each of the leaders plans for running the country - Try to be honest with yourself. Go ahead, give it a try. It's only our country's very survival that is at steak...
