I think the poster was mistaken. The current DA’s wife’s biological brother was adopted by the Sanduskys. It’s interesting and very important imo that the Sandusky’s oldest adopted child Ray, now 48, was a foster child in their home when he was 3 yrs. old and the Sanduskys were newlyweds. This was 1966, the year after Jerry graduated from PSU and was working as a Paterno grad assistant. Very strange that Jerry at 22 or 23 eagerly skipped the honeymoon phase in favor of becoming an instant “daddy”. He and Dottie may have had a sexless marriage from the start.
The more we learn the stranger it seems. I expect there is still quite a bit more to be learned over the coming weeks and months.
