FOX ^ | 11/16/11 | FOX

A majority of American voters think the sexual harassment claims made against Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain are motivated by something other than fairness.

A minority thinks the allegations are serious enough to disqualify him from the race. Cain has been battling claims that he sexually harassed four women more than a decade ago.

Cain neutralized. Now it’s Newt’s turn in the barrel.

Agreed. Cain is exactly what we need from an economic perspective. But he’d also be the hardest one for Obama to beat, imho. Axelrod evidently agrees. That’s why all the smears originate in Chicago. Obama’s team is working overtime to rid the field of Cain. I don’t believe they will succeed.

Which state and city are you in? Here, north of Seattle, the Malls have the normal crowds. Busy on good weather weekends, pretty empty during week day afternoons. None of the restaurants have a waiting line to get a table. Sometimes I wonder how they manage to break even.

Looks like the masses may finally be catching on to liberal campaign tricks...

Let's hope they're also developing a healthy skepticsm for anything and everything the media reports.

Well, you gotta remember most our citizens have been educated in unionized public schools. Dumbing down of America is a spectacular success. Political Correctness is running amok.

I'm down is San Diego.

Our malls look crowded but people are just walking around, I guess. They sure aren't buying.

We've had three fairly popular restaurants go under in short order. Yesterday, our closest Chevy's closed it's doors without warning. I understand the chain is bankrupt and one by one they will be closing.

We also lost a Chili's. That one has been empty for almost a year.

We have other anchor stores in our mall (Robinson's May) that got bought out and that huge store has been sitting empty for about 3 years.

It's depressing!

Your post says it in a nutshell. While the Dems are teaching generations of our kids to be brain-dead liberals, the Establishment GOP is getting rich on legal insider trading and every now and then pretending to be conservative. Getting a man like Cain in there is our best hope.

When you said San Diego, that explains everything. CA is certainly not in good shape. Wonder why! The liberals have been in charge!

We survived Carter but we can't survive Obama.

I know the pitfalls of Cali but it's sad nontheless to see these huge empty stores. I have it in my mind that a great businessman could turn things around...

Cain neutralized “the attack” is more like it.... Like the stock market, they have done the limit of their damage to his “brand”, and pushed him down a bit, but he is now back on the way up with a slingshot effect backed up by a huge backlash at the grassroots. Just watch! They (the libs/RINO Complex) will keep hitting him and hitting him, but I know for a fact he has his grand daughter in his heart and will keep returning knuckle sandwich for every attack they gin up his way.

It's depressing!

It wouldn't surprise me to see a record set for suicides and murders this holiday season...the carnage is already ramping up in New Hampshire with two women killed and a third shot over a three-day period last week, and these were in RURAL areas...

“Are we going to continue to have the media attack all the candidates so that “Their Guy” is the only one standing?”

Yes, and then BHO & co. will have a field day with Mittens. Do the establishment Repubs just want to lose and hand BHO a second term??

It pains me that Herman’s had these recent gaffes which the DBM play over and over, but I still think both he and Newt have a MUCH better chance of beating BHO in the general than Mitt.

Herman’s simply GOT TO bone up on foreign policy, though - get with Allen West or John Bolton.

” I think we need a Herman Cain to get this country back on track. I don’t remember stores closing like this even during the darkest days of Carter. “

Actually, there were half empty strip shopping centers, at least in California, but this recession is a killer...nationwide...and there is no Ronald Reagan this time to fix it. Cain is by far the best choice we have.

Thanks for answering. I truly couldn't remember. I remember the looooong lines to get gas and the high interest rates but I couldn't remember stores closing up shop.

This one is going to hit, even in Texas (for those that say CA is the problem) as Chili's is in trouble and that is most definitely a TX based chain!

I'm praying for good business sense to get us out of this....and I don't mean Romney!
