I agree with the woman here, I agree with her 100%.

The Tea Party failed in part because they refused to physically enter the belly of the beast in most parts of the US. In the areas of the country where the Tea Party protests were held within walking distance to rehab outpatient facilities, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, methadone clinics etc, the Tea Party had encounters with the members of this American society’s lowest rungs,

That is life, it happens.

Most of the griping against the Occupy movement on FR sounds like Dana Carvey’s Church Lady, ... it’s not going to win the public square.

The very act of Occupy movement engaging and taking in the vagrants makes them vastly more appealing to the lower 85% of the American population...

The old line families of Rome lost the republic to the Empire and to the populist demagogues due to this, the Tea Party better take notes lest they end up as the rear guard action as the loss of the Republic is finalized.

If the Tea Party held Tent-ins in places like Boston they could show the contrast, not only in demeanor but in how they will be treated.
