I do not know if this has been mentioned but there was a
Law and Order: SVU episode called
'Personal Fouls' about a HS basketball coach that had a charity and sexually abused the boys. Season 13 Epi 2. I had the thought at the time...hmmmm...wonder who this is about since they do so many 'ripped from the headlines' (but slightly altered) shows. When the Sandusky scandal surfaced....it came to me that obviously, SVU producers got the info from earlier this year because a script had to be written and then the episode shot. I wonder if they got the idea from the April Mark Madden article?
FYI - When you click on the title on the SVU website....the episode won't play....
