No. The Texas legislature voted almost unanimously to let the children brought into the U.S. illegally, who had spent at least 3 years in Texas schools and graduated, to pay instate tuition. Gov. Perry signed that 2001 bill. It is a state decision (many states have it and many more have it on their radar because it is the trade-off they have to make because the Feds refuse to SEAL the border). They must apply for citizenship. Most of the small number who go on to college attend local community colleges.
When he said he couldnt recall his 3rd dept he wanted to disband...and then he recalled it a long time later...its obvious someone else wrote that down for him. If he truly wanted to disband it, and it was truly HIS idea, he would of recalled it on the spot. He is another telepormpter candidate.
Texas is an energy state. Gov. Rick Perry has been battling the EPA and the Energy Dept for over a decade. As he said, "oops." It happens to everyone. Even you.
Perhaps you missed the debate where Perry said out loud that those who do not want children of illegals to go to college at in-state rates are “heartless”. It did cause a furestorm ( and a dramatic drop in his polling numbers)
It was an 'OOPS'...only because he knew he was 'had'. It wasn't his idea otherwise he would of been able to recognize it when he HEARD It from someone else..... The man is an embarrassment and a clown.
