Um, Cain’s statement was in January of this year.
Cain has a long history of being prolife:
2006 - African American Businessman Spends 1M to Urge Blacks to Vote Pro-Life

2004 - Herman Cain blasts Roe v. Wade (Free Republic - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-gop/1063707/posts
Just to be accurate, it wasn't his 1 million. It was a PAC that received donations, and they used Cain as their spokesperson for their pro-life message to blacks.
BTW, he may well HAVE a long history of being pro-life. But 2004 and 2006 do not indicate a “long history”. If you had quotes from back in the 1990s, or the 1980s, that would be a long history.
I’ve been in the pro-life movement since I was a teenager. That’s the mid-70s, just after Roe v Wade.
I appreciate anyone who is prolife.
Since you seem more interested in Mr. Cain’s record on the matter than you do Gov. Perry’s perhaps you should start a thread of your own extolling the virtues of Mr. Cain. Be sure and ping me to it so I can say something nice about Mr. Cain.
We all know that Cain is prolife although he was extremely clumsy in expressing his views about it.
But this is a thread about Perry and how he’s actually acted on his pro-life beliefs.
See, Perry has a record. You may not like all of it but it’s there so we can see not only what he says he would do but what he has done.
