Bill Maher told George Stephanopoulos he hopes Mitt Romney will win to stop the rise of the apes. This was after he was just talking about Herman Cain.
Transcript via NewsBusters:
STEPHANOPOULOS: Yet, hes, hes still leading the field. Still is. I mean, hes starting to fall just a little, but still leading the field.
MAHER: But, thats just because they hate Mitt Romney.
STEPHANOPOULOS: They do.
MAHER: You have got to feel bad for Mitt Romney. I mean, hes been led, so far, by Trump, then Bachmann. Then Perry. Then Cain.
STEPHANOPOULOS: But, he kinda hangs in there. Hes everyones second choice.
MAHER: Im rooting for him. You know? Because, look, in a country with only two parties, the Republican can always win. I mean, at least he eats with a knife and fork. I mean, he is all that stands between us and the rise of the apes. Video at http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2011/11/bill-maher-wants-romney-to-win-to-stop-the-rise-of-the-apes-herman-cain/

We just can't win. We oppose Urkel because he's an idiot whose skin just happens to be black and we're called racists.
We support Cain who, in the minds of The Left, is an idiot whose skin happens to be black and we're STILL called racists.
Sheesh. What's a guy gotta do?

Ask yourself: Would this vitriol against Cain exist if he were white? Before you ask yourself this question, consider this:
Without 90% of the black vote, there's not a single RAT who could get elected anywhere in this country from Dog Catcher on up. Or down depending on your worldview.
Imagine that. DemocRATS MUST get 90% of the black vote to even have a chance in any given election. If RATS lose as little as 2% of the black vote, they are toast.
Stew on that and then ask yourself the question posed at the end of the article.

I am sure Juan Williams can attest to the fact that NPR profiles.
I'm not a big fan of Juans, but I respect that he had stood up for Herman Cain and his character assassination by the MSM. Interestingly enough, most of the conservative commentators could are less.
