So is this the banker’s fault or the governments?

I contend it was all the fault of the government. If they kept out of it, bad banks, with their bad managers, would have failed, and there is your punsihment for bad bankers.

Why are we subsidizing bad behavior with the people’s money, and why do you want to make criminal stupid actions on the part of the bankers?

The occupiers are on par with the nazi brownshirts and have zero valid purpose in civilized society. Nothing but rabid animals who attack whatever target their puppet masters in the shadows point out for them.

Attacking Michele Bachmann for pete's sake and she actually has a consistent history of opposing bailouts.

They don't want the banks to be smaller, they want the banks to be gone and bankers dead so we can all "share" the money (if we agree with them anyway)

Gold is not neccesary. I have no interest in gold. We will build a solid state, without an ounce of gold behind it. Anyone who sells above the set prices, let him be marched off to a concentration camp. That's the bastion of money.
