Some on FR use victimized children like human shields to defend their vile, sadistic, and sickening statements. [LeonardFMason, post #21]

It's been as much the reverse if you've read enough of these Penn State threads...

It's Paterno & Penn State defenders who neglect to even mention victimized children in context with Penn State. We've seen people call Grand Jury Presentments based upon testimony in the "Finding of Fact" section..."hearsay"...

We get JoePologists defending what he knew and what he didn't know without even reading p. 7 of the Grand Jury Presentment that mentions him.

yes by all means lets skip the fair trial and just hang him and damn finding the facts of the case. sounds like a lynch mob here... [RitchieAprile, post #14 -- reinforced by LeonardFMason's "amen" type of post -- "Couldn't agree more" @ #21]

First of all, what "trial" in what "jurisdiction" are you BOTH even talking about?"

Did we all miss a headline somewhere that Joe Paterno's been charged with something?

How can we wait for something that appears won't ever come?

And hanging?[RA's term]
By lynching? [RA's term]
Blood lust? [LFM's term]

What? Do they do that in Pennsylvania for covering up less-than-lethal crimes? Do they let out blood of the accused there?

NO???

Oh. I get it. You're BOTH engaging in extreme hyperbole. You're over the top...because a few posters on the other side of perspectives have also been over the top.

But wait. If it's "OK" for you to be over the top, why not them?

I see, Leonard, you must "hate" those you label as engaging in "vile hatred." (Please provide living examples -- real phrases and real FREEPERS who have engaged in that...yup...that's a dare...and if you don't come up with something, then please reconsider posting false accusations the next time you post)

Now, in case you're both using symbolic language about a "trial" -- as in the "trial" of public opinion, columnist Scott Ostler dealt with that component quite well last week:

Several e-mailers demand, "Have you ever heard of due process?" The due process I've heard of involves a justice system and a legal trial. Paterno faces no legal action or charge. Legally, his rear end is covered.

But there was no trial when Paterno was sainted, no jury declared him one of the noblest and finest college coaches of all time. The public decided. It's the same deal on the flip side. We'll take the facts and form them into our personal legacy of Joe Paterno.

Your dare?

POST 8 “Review, Joe Paterno in line for pension.” Posted by allmost

“Lock him(Joe Paterno) up, tie him down. Let the ‘others’ deal with him. I will volunteer a pipe”

If that isn’t vile and HATEFUL what is? Go ahead an parse away. Is that normal thought in your world. Is that hyperbole? Filtered through your mind it will be probably be described as a friendly suggestion and kind offer.

“allmost” suggests he would help in the anal rape of an 85 year old man, right here on FREE REPUBLIC. Classy.

Is being outraged over the sexual assault of a child an excuse to encourage the forcible rape of an 85 year old man by having a pipe shoved in his ass?

I’ll call it VILE, EVIL, and HATEFUL. You can minimize it all you want.
