A point about boys’ locker room protocal: It was ONLY the team members who were in the showers. The coaches, including asst coaches, NEVER undressed around the boys, or hung around for the showers. They were in their offices, or they had their own showers, or they went home in their coach garb, but they NEVER undressed or hung around the undressed boys.

You sound like the caller on Rush's show last hour. Was that you by chance? Your post is almost verbatium of that call.

In any case though, that is exactly as it should be. Under no circumstance should coaches, asst coaches or ANY adult for that matter, be present in a locker room of young men (or women). The only exception I could find for this is if there is violence being perpetrated on a student by another.

But this pervert is trying to convince Americans that it is completely natural that this exposure happens. It's such BS. But that is exactly what the goal is. imho.

That's how it was with me. I used to be an assistant coach. When I coached, I was in the office when I was in the locker room. Most of us wore coaches gear to practice or changed in the coaches office, and usually changed there in the back room away from players. They don't need to see us out of uniform, and we don't need to see them outside of uniform.

The most I did outside the office in the locker room was address the team when everyone was dressed. If something was needed, players came to our office. I damn well didn't even go near the shower. None of us did. Hell no, and I cringe even thinking about it. We just don't do that. Period.

Even if Sandusky told the truth, which I doubt, what the Hell was he thinking?
