Why? If someone breaks into my house, my first step isn't to go deadbolt the front door.

This is total BS. Besides, I have seen polls where majority of latinos opposes illegal immigration so the idea that latinos are pro-illegal is likely not true.

If large part of majority would think that murdering annoying neigbor is ok, this does not mean that GOP should embrace it. Instead, it means GOP should educate and argue why it is bad.

Likewise for illegal immigration. GOP should explain clearly why it is bad and explain the true cost (financial cost and daily murders and loss of life due to DWIs)

“The Republican Party should not be labeled as the anti-illegal immigration party.”

No, genius, Republicans would never want to be known as people who want to enforce our laws.

This guy is clearly not ready for prime time.

I had heard when he was in the Florida House he did what he could to sidetrack immigration legislation. I thought having won a Senate seat he would try to get more in tune with the rest of the country. I guess he just doesn’t have a “heart” for non-hispanics who favor the rule of law and lower immigration levels.

If guys like this and Ricardo Perry are the future of the Republican Party, it’s toast as far as I’m concerned. They’ll just have to replace my vote with an illegal’s.

Well I am an anti-illegal alien voter. Who the hell do they think they are? We have a system for gaining citizenship that has been inexistance for generations and has been followed by millions. They can come legally or go to hell. They don’t even apply for citizenship. If they go through the process legally, I don’t mind at all them coming as long as they learn English and contribute good for our society. But if they want to come illegally to wave Mexican flags, commit crimes, and never learn the language, like I said, to hell with them. They are criminals. If they want to live off the government handouts, I have not one bit of sympathy. Kick them out. Illegal aliens have no allegiance to this country. They never took the oath of citizenship. The phrase illegal alien should actually be “criminal alien” because their first act on coming to the US is to break the law and become criminals simply because they avoid the legal immigration system. As soon as they step foot in this country they are criminals.

Rubio is right. He’s in favor of a comprehensive overhaul, wbicbis what is needed. But instead we have nitwit candidates with no ideas of their own except rabble rousing who suggest electrifying the border fence and putting up a sign in Spanish.if I were Hispanic I wouldn’t even dream of voting GOP after hearing a stupid remark like that.

I guess he doesn’t think that the more than one million new, legal permanent residents the U.S. allows each year, far more than anywhere else in the world, is enough.

With growing signs that Hispanic voters are turned off to GOP positions on immigration, Sen. Marco Rubio is trying to use his national profile to deliver a message to his party: Tone it down.

No. Maybe instead you and the other Republicans should try considering obeying the law of the land and get on board with causing those not in this country legally to leave one way or the other.

I profess that I don't know a whole lot about this Marco Rubio character out of Florida but saying that concerned and outraged Americans should just "tone it down" to help elct RINO Republicans is the best way to get on my bad side in a heartbeat just as Perry did with his heartless comment and attitude. And I don't forget easily Marco.
