Gov. Perry means it when he says he wants to make Washington D.C. as inconsequential as possible in our lives!

I just don't believe that's what the American people want....demographically this country is a lot different than it was during Reagan's time. Unfortunately, I've reached the conclusion that most Americans deep down love big government, even those who call themselves "Conservatives."

Simply amazing! Our liberties are being stripped away by smooth talking hucksters whose only redeeming qualities are they sound good and are quick on their feet. Typical of used car salesman(bless their hearts). I'll be first in line to say I appreciate a good sales job but recognize it for what it is; glib shysters at a dime a dozen as evidenced by the urchins in DC and many State Houses.

For the life of me I can't understand the almost visceral dislike of Rick Perry here on FR. To be sure many are trolls, a lot of 'em noobs, and disgruntled Cain/Paul/Bachmann, etc. shills. Whatever...

In any case, I want to say I admire your tenacity in your continued support of Perry. He is far from the second coming but I suspect many here on FR would have difficulty recognizing the second coming anyway. OMG, the Man has dust on his sandals!!!
