“I’m doubt those observations really assuage the pain of family members and victims.”

I can not imagine a more leftist response. You make my case about this. Again is this a federal issue to you or is it a state criminal matter? Or as the lefty you are does the existence of victims trump everything else and we should spend an infinite amount of tax payer money?

There are victims, Paterno must go. There are victims, Paterno’s name must be removed from the BIg 12 football trophy. There are victims, the federal government must step in. There are victims, we must rush to judgement. There are victims, there can be no cross examination of witnesses to see if the victims actually are victims.

You spout the Dim line exactly. Again this is why we end up with more and more and more and more government.

There are multiple liabilities and yes, it does imply groups of people in the wrong.

Justice will not prevail where the innocent are deprived their liberties in order to afford the criminal more freedom than the innocent.

Protecting CHILDREN who are the victims here isn't a democrat or republican issue, it is a HUMAN ISSUE.

Your defense of conservatism is quite pathetic.
