Any president will have to rely on his advisers -he couldn’t possibly keep all the details of every issue in RAM -not even Newt. Don't be ridiculous. Newt could take a 3AM phone call, questions from the WH Press Corp, and give a SOTU address all on 30 minutes' sleep without once having to ask an advisor for details.
