As I study more and more about the history of this country that is not on the 6 o'clock news, I have come to understand why so many countries hate the USA for meddling in their countries politics.

By the same token, China and the Soviets have no qualms about meddling in the affairs of other nations. And we do need to counter their actions, since their ambitions are most certainly expansionist.
But I agree with you to a point. We need to pick our battles wisely. We don’t always do that. And with Obama, we’re acting in ways that are against the interests of the US and her allies.
