If I were Cain talking to the media, I’d want to stop and think very carefully, too. As he seemed to be doing. You know how the media rolls:
“Do you support the US intervention against Libya?”
“No, I—”
“So, you are fine with Qadaffi slaughtering civilians?”
“That isn’t what I said.”
“Yes you did. You just said the US should stand by and do nothing.”
"When individuals go about the business of overthrowing governments, they cease to be civilians and they become revolutionaries. If you're asking me if I support American military intervention in every revolution or uprising across the globe, my answer in an emphatic, No, I do not."
