Where are the tapes of Barack Obama in 2007 discussing foreign policy, economics, or any other subject, with local reporters. I guarantee there were some brutal, cringeworthy moments that were never reported. And G.W. Bush in 1999? Technology did not exist to easily record streaming video, but one can only imagine how that marble-mouthed Bush garbled his positions on these issues. But again, we will never know, and neither of those men ever suffered. Fish’s staff must realize that EVERYTHING is recorded in 2011...and avoid it like the plague. CONTROL THE MESSAGE. It worked for Mike Deaver with Reagan, and it would work for Cain IF he had a real staff and not just the jackass Mark Block.

Boy, you sure summed it up there. One of the main appeals for Cain has been the “non-politician” label. That works up to a point when you are a boutique candidate, but in the big nasty world of politics and every damned thing recorded, you need big-time political advisers who ride your ass about “message” and control the interviews you go on and who you talk to, right down to who you get your picture taken with.
Cain is running an amateur campaign and it is melting under the hot lights right now. He needs to take a million of his warchest and buy some help.
