As I read the first paragraph I ventured the thought of an overlay with the black community in the U.S.

How are you going to have good faith if you are raised being told that the society in which you are trying to compete is against you, is racist?

That's the rub. It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Blacks in America give up before they succeed because they believe that the deck is stacked against them. Others try and try again, the thought that the world is out to get them never crosses their minds. How many great writers were turned down dozens of times before their first book got published? How many whites were denied a loan, only to keep trying and eventually get one? Now ask yourselves the same question from a black angle. How many black writers gave up after being told "no" five times? And so on.

That victim-hood and its perpetuity have served the purposes of those who created and supported it - those seeking the destruction of Israel, by one means or another; those outsiders seeking to use Palestinian victim-hood for their own internal domestic, and international political ends; those seeking to enrich themselves via the aid mechanisms established to assist the Palestinian “victims” and “refugees”.

What it has not served well is the Palestinian people or Peace between the Arabs of Palestine and Israel.
