I have a friend of mine who is an emergency room physician and he has thought of quitting and opening a laser tattoo removal and botox shop. It is an all cash business with no insurance hassles.

He loves the high tempo ER work, but says the pressure to practice defensive medicine is getting to be too much.

The operative word being he “thought,” about doing it. He never actually will go through with it. Which speaks well of your friend.
