I was here during that time and I can safely report that Freepers were among the most skeptical group of people I have ever witnessed. Each claim that these women made were met by an avalanche of Freepers who picked apart every statement they made. They most definitely were not a bunch of parrots.
This same level of skepticism is being applied to all the candidates positions and Freepers are characteristically ruthless even on their favorite candidates and yes many are full time cheerleaders but there is plenty of those against.
As for Cain's accusers you are wrong. They should rightly be subject to scrutiny. Issues regarding their background and past events which shed light on whether they have a track record of being honorable or a track record of being irresponsible is relevant to their testimony. Arguing that we should evaluate their testimony without evaluating their reputation is silly.
