Bialek boyfriend to come forward (2PM ET Press Conference)

A former boyfriend of Sharon Bialek, the Chicago woman who accused Republican presidential contender Herman Cain of sexual harassment, will talk to reporters on Monday to provide information supporting Bialek's claims.

The unnamed man, whom Bialek said is a pediatrician, will hold a news conference with Gloria Allred, Bialek's attorney, at 2 p.m. ET in Louisiana. The event was first reported by RadarOnline, a celebrity news site.

Bialek said Cain reached up her skirt in 1997 when he was president of the National Restaurant Association and she went to him seeking job advice. Following the alleged incident, Bialek said she told her boyfriend at the time what happened. Cain denies the allegations.

The news conference comes almost immediately after Cain's wife, Gloria, agreed to discuss the allegations for the first time on national television in an interview with Fox News' Greta Van Susteren. In the interview, which was pre-recorded and is set to air Monday evening, Cain's wife defends her husband and rejects the allegations.

"To hear such graphic allegations and know that that would have been something that was totally disrespectful of [Bialek] as a woman and I know that’s not the person he is,” she said, according to partial transcripts of the interview.

Zuckerman says while he was dating Bialek she was recruited to work for National Restaurant Association. Says during 1997 NRA convention Sharon

“I remember Sharon saying that she and Mr. Cain had been to many of the same events during this week.”

Zuckerman says she said she had sat next to him at some events. had opportunity to speak with him at length.

“She told me I needed to meet this man of wit ,of wartmth and of great speaking abilities,” Zuckerman said.

Zuckerman says he paid for Bialek’s travel and hotel costs to Washington meeting with Cain.

Said he did not upgrade the hotel suite.

Later, he learned from Bialek that something disturbing had happened during Bialek’s meeting with Cain.

She told Zuckerman that she had handled it and did not want to talk about it further.
