Cain’s merely the latest candidate Base Connect has tried to exploit. Check their website:

It seems like they’ve ridden every conservative candidate they could. And the candidates get very little.

Base Connect, which is mentioned in this article, is formerly known as BMW Direct. it’s connected to Freedom’s Defense Fund. A little network of organizations using most of the money you give them for their own benefit.
