it’s not like Penn State is the catholic church or anything...

following the ‘logic’ seen on this thread, the pope would have been discommunicated during the 90s, as the information of the abuses were sent to the highest levels

of course with the church, there were numerous (tens) of priests diddling the boys.

then again, the church is nothing like public school... which dismisses roughly 700 ‘teachers’ nationwide every year for molesting kids. why people aren’t calling for Arne Duncan’s head (or any of the past DoE secretaries over the last 15+ years) on a platter is beyond me

Well thanks to Penn State, the Catholic "jokes" about covering up abuse have returned.

The one I heard on secular radio late last week was a one-liner:

"Now Paterno can run for pope!"
